Privacy Policy

This policy explains how AFTERVÉ (“we”, “us”) handles personal data when you use afterve.com and related services. We aim to collect only what we need to handle your request, and to be clear about how it is used. This policy is designed with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 in mind.

What we collect

  • Request details — your name, WhatsApp number, selected event, preferred date, guest category, number of guests and any message you choose to add.
  • Contact messages — your name, email and/or WhatsApp number, topic and message.
  • Consent record — the time you agreed to be contacted.
  • Technical data — a one-way hashed form of your IP address and your browser's user-agent, used only to prevent spam and abuse. We do not store raw IP addresses.
  • Attribution — if you arrive through a promoter link, the promoter code is attached to your request so the right person is credited.

How we use it

  • To review your request, check it with the relevant venue and contact you about it.
  • To send confirmation and entry instructions when a request is approved.
  • To prevent duplicate, fraudulent or automated submissions.
  • To keep records of requests and attendance for operational reporting.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your separate consent.

Sharing

To process a request we may share the details needed (typically your name, party size and date) with the venue concerned. Our service providers — such as hosting and database providers — process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards. Promoters can only see requests attributed to them.

Retention

We keep request records for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal or accounting obligations, after which they are deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, or withdraw consent, at any time. Use the contact page and choose “Privacy request”. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer process an open request.

Cookies & storage

We do not use advertising cookies. If you arrive through a promoter link, the promoter code is kept in your browser's session storage until you close the tab.

Changes

We may update this policy as the service develops. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
